If you are required to join two edges of Rootbarrier together a 'Z' fold should be used in conjunction with Rootbarrier joining tape to ensure a correct and complete join.
1. Dig a trench or tree hole.2. Roll out Root Barrier® beside the trench or the tree hole and cut it to the right length.With trenches longer than 50 metres allow for an overlap of 1 metre. If you are using double-sided sticky butyl tape,allow for an overlap of 50 cm.3. Place RootBarrier® with its smooth, coated side towards the roots of the tree.4. Check overlaps, joins and position of RootBarrier®.5. Fill in the trench or tree hole
